Privacy Policy

Last updated October 8, 2026

This policy explains how Trenton Hoyt LLC ("we," "us") collects and uses information when you play Sovereign March. The Game is meant for people aged 16 and older, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger.

Information we collect

  • Account details: your email address and password (stored securely, never in readable form).
  • Game data: your nation, leader details, cities, resources, orders, treaties, faction activity and messages you write in the Game.
  • Fair-play data: the timing and number of orders you give, used to detect bots and automated play.
  • Bug reports: what you write, the page you were on, the game version, and your browser type.
  • Settings stored on your device: your chosen display style, whether you've seen the walkthrough, and any invite code you entered.
  • Email preferences: which game emails you want to receive.

How we use it

  • To run the Game, keep your account signed in, and show your nation to other players.
  • To send game emails you've chosen (such as attack alerts and battle reports) and required account emails.
  • To prevent cheating, bots and abuse, and to enforce the Terms of Service.
  • To fix bugs and improve the Game.

We do not sell your personal information and do not use it for third-party advertising.

What other players can see

Your nation name, leader name and title, map position, color, faction and general military and land figures are visible to other players. Detailed city information is shown only to your faction or to players who succeed at spy missions. Your email address is never shown to other players.

Service providers

We use trusted providers to host the Game and its database, handle sign-in, and deliver email. They process information only to provide those services to us. We may also share information if required by law or to protect the Game and its players.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and game data while your account is active. Fair-play records are kept only as long as needed to detect abuse. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information, except where we must keep it for legal or security reasons.

Your choices and rights

  • Turn individual game emails on or off at any time from your settings.
  • Ask us to delete your account by emailing us.
  • Where applicable law gives you specific privacy rights, you may contact us and we will respond as that law requires.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no online service is completely secure.

Changes

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the date above.
