The basics
- Sovereign March runs in real time. There are no turns: cash and resources build up every second, even while you're away.
- Resources come from improvements in your cities: farms, oil wells, and coal, metal and uranium mines. Each improvement uses a 40-acre plot of land.
- Buy more land to build more improvements, or found new cities. There's no limit on cities, but each new city costs more than the last.
- Your government, national focus and military doctrine give your nation lasting strengths.
- Prices on the commodity exchange move with supply and demand.
War and protection
- New nations are protected from attack for 3 days. Attacking another nation ends your own protection early.
- Armies take time to march. Distance on the map is for show only and never changes travel time or battle results.
- A normal defeat costs the loser plunder and reparations. An overwhelming defeat also costs land.
- A nation that loses a defense gets 12 hours to 3 days of extra protection.
- Missiles and nuclear strikes can be stopped by defense shields.
- Peace treaties can trade resources, land or labor, and can include a truce.
Factions
- Factions share a vault and have ranks. Leaders choose whether joining is open, by application, or closed.
- A faction holds up to 20 members.
- Factions can sign non-aggression pacts, mutual defense pacts and trade pacts with each other.
- Faction members can see each other's city details. Other players need spy missions to see them.
Fair play
- One person, one nation. Running more than one account is not allowed.
- No bots or automation. Every order must be given by you, by hand. Scripts, macros, auto-clickers and similar tools are banned.
- Unusual activity may pause your orders until you pass a quick human check. Repeat or serious cases are reviewed and can lead to suspension.
- No exploiting bugs. If you find one, report it with the bug report button.
- Names: nation names may not be real countries that have existed since 1900, or US or Canadian states, provinces or territories. Hateful, obscene or harassing names and messages are not allowed.
- Invite codes are for inviting real new players. Using them for extra accounts is not allowed.
- War is part of the game. Real-world threats and harassment are not.
Enforcement
